Spanish, French and Italian profiles coming soon

The LangCorr team is working hard to create new profiles for our marking and feedback system Language Corrector. Our team is currently working on Spanish, French and Italian versions so that teachers can correct papers on these languages.

According to LangCorr’s vision, language correction should be simple and smooth. But very often it is a time-consuming and tedious task which every teacher needs to undertake. We believe that different teachers from all over the world have the same problem – they do not have enough time.

Did you know that secondary school teachers in the United Kingdom work around 55 hours a week? Of that time they spend 9.4 hours a week on marking and assessment activities. It is time that is usually taken from teachers’ personal time.* We believe that the situation is similar in other countries.

9.4 hours a week on marking and assessment activities

LangCorr’s aim is to change this situation and start offering more profiles for more subjects, so that teachers will be able to reduce their heavy workload. Our team is working hard to finish the Spanish, Italian and French profiles.

The profiles will be based on the same idea – teachers can use predefined comments to save time when marking students’ assignments. Writing down the same comments to different students over and over again can be time-consuming. Our team will define comments about the most commonly made mistakes so that it will be easier for teachers to mark the students’ papers. Of course, teachers are also able to define their own specific comments.

Stay tuned for the updates about the new profiles for Language Corrector.
